I always thought my dream was to be an engineer with a big title at a multinational company — a goal that made perfect sense at the time, especially with a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Power Engineering. But deep down, I yearned for something more, something different. That spark I was missing finally ignited the day I picked up my first professional camera — not to start a business, but simply to explore something new. What started as curiosity quickly became a calling. Over 15 years ago, I made the decision to shift my life and career toward photography and visual storytelling — and I haven’t looked back since. Today, I’m a UAE-based Creative Director, Photographer, Videographer, and Content Creator, specializing in corporate, commercial, food and beverage, fashion, wedding, interior, lifestyle, and event work. My journey began in Cairo in 2010 under my personal brand — Lamia Khazbak Photography — which later expanded into Dubai, where I continue to work under both my name and as the Founder of Lucet Studios. Through both platforms, I deliver high-end visual production services to brands, corporates, startups, government entities, agencies, and individuals. I’ve had the privilege of working with top-tier clients including Dubai Media Academy, Dubai Press Club, the UAE Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation (MOFAIC), Mai Dubai, UN Women, Expo 2020, Gitex, Gov Games, and the University of Dubai. My approach is rooted in emotion, precision, and purpose. I don’t just photograph subjects — I photograph how they make me feel. Whether I’m planning a multi-day shoot, capturing a spontaneous moment, or editing a visual narrative, I strive to create work that resonates. I hold a Master’s degree in Business Administration, which along with my engineering background, gives me a rare blend of technical thinking and strategic creative direction. I’ve led workshops, mentored emerging creatives, and produced content that spans from high-quality digital imagery to brand-focused videos and infographics for websites, blogs, and social media channels. When I’m not behind the camera or in post-production, I’m often traveling, exploring new ideas, or trying something that gets me out of my comfort zone. Photography is my passion, my profession — and probably the thing that will drive me insane one day. But I wouldn't have it any other way. Let’s create something exceptional together.
